I appreciate good looking things, but I really admire things that have both the looks + functionality. My body just refuses to use anything that's uncomfortable (like heels...). I personally don't like carrying stuff around in my hands, so I stay away from clutches or bags with small handles no matter how cute they are.
With all that to say, I got an idea to make a bag for my ball of yarn that kept rolling around as I was crocheting (this is where my practical side of the brain starts working) so I don't have to chase after the ball like a cat. Normally you would put the ball in a basket to keep it from rolling away, so I decided to make a bag that functions like a basket for when I'm not crocheting at home (so I can take it with me wherever).
It looks like a lunch bag with a circular bottom - if you fold the top twice it becomes sturdy enough to use as a basket.
[made a little logo for things handmade by Sky - "b" in Korean means "rain"]
[when I wanna take the bag with me I just roll down the top and tie the rope around it - the rope is attached to the bottom of the bag]
Yarn bag prototype A was a success. Next time, I might make it a little bigger with another layer of fabric. Happy crocheting~
Brilliancy!
