A few weeks ago I took one of the shirts my friend was donating and did a little experiment on it. I wish I had taken a picture of the shirt before I took it apart, but I honestly didn't think it would turn out well... so I didn't. :P Instead I made a drawing to show what it looked like before. I took out the collars, sleeves, strings and added a button at the very top. I like it a lot and I wear it all the time now.
I'm thinking about doing more damage to some of my clothes... sometimes it's so hard to find the perfect style and size that I'm tempted to make my own clothes.

Wow Sky! Such a great transformation! You totally turned it into a modern, summery shirt...and it doesn't look "homemade" at all. :-P Good job!
